Removing of old
vinyl lettering from glass is very easy. You can use a razor blade and a
hair-dryer
or heat gun.
Heat up a small areas of the lettering for no more than
30 seconds. Using the razor start at the bottom right corner and begin lifting
the vinyl off. Repeat the heat process if the letters become difficult to remove.
If any residue is left simply use rubbing alcohol and wipe it away.
You should not use any type of an
abrasive cleaner to remove any residue. If you need to, use a mild soap and a
soft sponge and wash around the lettering. |
