How We Make Your Vinyl Transfers

A Vinyl Transfer is a color image cut out of vinyl with protected pressure sensitive adhesive on one side. The top is covered with transfer tape. To apply, remove the backing, position over surface and press into place then remove the transfer tape.

Your image is converted into a format that is compatible with our software. The material with the adhesive is placed in our computer aided sign cutter that uses a blade to cut the vinyl but not the backing. The excess around the lettering and images is removed by hand. The vinyl is then covered with transfer tape.

How It All Gets Started

Preparing the surface for Vinyl letters: Make sure that the surface is clean, smooth and dry. Make sure to remove any bubbles that may be on the transfer tape.

Applying your lettering to glass: Make sure that the surface has been cleaned with cleaner and wiped dry and clean. On plastic wipe the surface with rubbing alcohol or cleaning solvent. If this is not done correctly, you run the chance of bubbles forming on your lettering. Lettering can be applied to interior painted walls and surfaces. To clean these use a mild soap and water. Make sure that you wipe it completely dry.
